HABC renovated the sanctuary to highlight sacred architecture including liturgical furnishings, reredos wall, coffered ceiling with a central cupola, and new lighting.

Scaffolding was erected as a ‘dancefloor’, which allowed all trades an elevated working surface. At the ground level, Hoffman built a new predella and reredos wall housing a Marian and St. Joseph statue with the crucifix positioned directly over a new elaborate tabernacle.

The transformation of the church also includes a new altar, lectern and ambo crafted by Carnevale and Lohr. Beautiful chandeliers were suspended from medallion shaped millwork where the coffers intersect. Lighting and acoustical plaster were also integral and complex upgrades to improve the sound and lighting quality in the sanctuary. Hoffman is appreciative of the tremendous project support offered by Anthony Grumbine of Harrison Design, James Free Architecture, and Construction Managers Eric Flynn and Kim Kennedy.
