PSA Memorial
In 1978, PSA Flight 182 crashed a few blocks away from St. Augustine High School in San Diego. Forty-four years later, in remembrance of the 144 lives lost that day, SAHS sponsored the PSA Memorial reflection garden. Architect domusstudio designed the memorial and HABC was honored to walk alongside the community and bring their vision to fruition, displaying 144 hand-crafted tiles representing each life lost during the crash. Mayor Todd Gloria of San Diego was present for the ceremony on September 25, 2024 and delivered a speech to the community expressing his gratitude to St. Augustine High School.
